Privacy Policy
Last updated:
Dark Matter Game Production Pvt. Ltd., Nepal (we or us) operates Nepali Bus Game and its website, Creator Portal, Mod Studio, and related administration services. This policy explains the information handled through those services. The information involved depends on the features you use, the app version, and your device settings.
1. Information we handle
- Accounts and profiles. Player or creator identifiers, username, profile name, avatar, contact details you provide, sign-in information, and account links. Google or Discord creator sign-in provides a provider identifier and basic profile information. We do not receive your Google or Discord password.
- Game activity. Saved progress, vehicles, balances, rewards, purchases, entitlements, game events, session duration, platform, app version, and device information. Guest play can still use an installation or device identifier to recognize saved progress.
- Creator activity. Uploaded mods and media, descriptions, releases, testing access, ratings, reports, moderation records, accepted Creator Terms, earnings, and payout requests. Payout details can include a recipient name, bank or payment account details, and payment references.
- Website and technical information. Pages visited, referrer, browser and device type, network requests, errors, and security logs. Network addresses may be processed by our infrastructure and providers; the game backend can derive an approximate country, city, and network provider from an address.
- Communications. Information you send through support email, testing or waitlist forms, feedback, or other contact channels.
2. How information is used and shared
We use information to provide accounts and gameplay, save and synchronize progress, deliver purchases and mods, operate creator tools and payouts, answer requests, understand performance, investigate crashes, prevent fraud, moderate content, and meet legal obligations.
Authorized staff and service providers receive information relevant to those purposes. Public creator names, listings, screenshots, and other published content are visible to other users. Banks or payment providers receive the information needed to process payouts. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to address fraud, security incidents, disputes, or threats to people’s safety.
Where a data-protection law requires a legal basis, processing may be necessary to provide a service you request, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, or rely on consent where required. The applicable basis depends on the activity and your location.
3. Analytics, advertising, and providers
The public website uses Vercel hosting and Web Analytics for traffic and performance information such as page views, referrers, browser type, and approximate location. Vercel describes Web Analytics as using aggregated measurements without third-party analytics cookies. Hosting and security systems may still process network and request information.
Game builds integrate Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics and GameAnalytics for usage and crash information. Events and crash reports can be associated with a player identifier. Where Smartlook is enabled in a build, it records interaction and session-replay information, which can include content visible on screen, to help diagnose usability issues.
Game builds with Google AdMob can process advertising identifiers, device and network information, ad interactions, and reward-verification information to deliver and measure ads, prevent invalid activity, and grant rewards. Advertising behavior depends on the build, region, consent choices where presented, and device privacy settings.
Third-party sign-in, app stores, fonts, forms, community links, and payment services also operate under their own policies. Learn more from these providers:
- Vercel and Vercel Web Analytics
- Google, including AdMob and Google sign-in, and Firebase
- GameAnalytics
- Smartlook
- Discord and Apple
4. Storage, security, and retention
Our portals use browser storage for sign-in sessions, security state, and preferences. Clearing this storage may sign you out or reset local preferences. Your sign-in provider may use its own cookies.
Account and service records, creator uploads, and operational data are stored on our systems or those of our providers. Information may be processed outside your country, including where our hosting, analytics, or payment providers operate. Applicable safeguards depend on the provider and the relevant law.
Retention depends on the purpose: maintaining accounts and progress, delivering purchased content, settling creator payments, resolving disputes, preventing abuse, and meeting legal requirements. Some records and backups may need to be retained after an account is closed. Contact us to ask about the information associated with your account and applicable retention.
We use access controls and other technical safeguards to protect information. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Do not send passwords, authentication tokens, or payment-card details in a support message.
5. Your choices and deletion requests
You can edit supported profile fields, manage linked providers in the Creator Portal, and use your operating system’s advertising and tracking controls. You can also manage permissions through your sign-in provider. These choices may affect the features available to you.
To request access, correction, a copy, or deletion of your account or personal information, email bussimnepal@gmail.com. Include your player username or creator display name and the service involved, but never your password. We may need to verify that the request concerns your account. Tell us if you only want particular data deleted.
Deleting account data may remove saved progress, account links, or access to purchases and creator tools. Legal, payment, fraud-prevention, or dispute records may be retained where necessary. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a data-protection authority. Withdrawal of consent does not affect earlier lawful processing.
6. Children and families
Parents and guardians should supervise use in accordance with applicable age requirements and the app store’s guidance. A child should not submit contact, account, or payout information without the permission required by law. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review the situation and take the action required.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when features, providers, or data practices change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice where applicable law requires it. Our Terms of Service describe the conditions for using the services.
